About Our Project
At Somali Education and Youth Development Action (SEYDA), we are dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by Somali youth, women, and communities through education, empowerment, and sustainable development. Our projects tackle barriers to education, employment, and social equality, aiming for long-term positive change across Somalia and beyond.
Ongoing and Past Projects:
Micro-Credential Dig Health Project (2024): Funded by the European Union, this project provides digital health training and micro-credentials for healthcare professionals in Somalia and Ethiopia to improve healthcare services and respond to emerging health challenges.
Capacity Building Program for Higher Education Students: Aimed at enhancing the academic and professional skills of higher education students, this program focuses on providing students with the necessary tools, resources, and support to succeed in their studies and future careers.
Climate Change Awareness (2023): Promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness on climate change in communities across Somalia.
Higher Education Access and Vocational Training (2024): Expanding access to higher education and vocational training to bridge the education gap.
